Distraction practice
when things are not going my way,
I change my current situation or surroundings
somehow
whether figuratively
physically or mentally
one day I’ll dance, go out, or rest
sometimes sink into calming music
rearrange one thing on my desk,
or a piece of furniture
or all of these
things look and feel differently
no longer feeling frustrated or sad
eyes sparkling,
refreshed
I’m renewed
